If you have a tattoo project that you would like to execute, you can request a consultation. This time can be used however you feel is needed, but generally, we can discuss project parameters (like size, placement, style) and see what is recommended for your vision and goals!
If we end up wanting to book after that conversation, we can get you set up then and there!
You can also visit the article below to understand what a consulation looks like - what gets discussed, what to expect, and the kind of information I'll need! Preparation is not a requirement, and this information is more of a bonus for people who want to mentally prepare. :)
Please send an email to contact@theodraws.art with the subject "Consultation Request [Your Name]", with the following questions answered:
Which of the following project parameters do you already have set in stone, and if so, what are they? (There's no shame in not knowing or what these mean, it just helps to know what we might need to decide on still!)
a. Size. Ranges in inches works best for small to medium sized projects. For larger projects, you can describe the placement. E.g.: a quarter sleeve on the outer forearm, or a full leg sleeve, or a back piece.
b. Style. This can include terms like American traditional, neotraditional, color realism, black and grey realism, black and grey illustrative, fineline, script, etc.
c. Subject matter. What is it that you are getting tattooed? This could be something like specific text for script, or an animal, or a flower. Be as specific as needed. For example, if you genuinely would be happy with any flower, you can just describe floral decorations around a main subject (like a face or animal), or you could already know that you want poppies or peonies or roses.
Are there photo references that are a good example of what you are looking for, and if so, what is good about them? For example, a reference can be a good example of the subject matter, or it can be a good example of both the subject matter and style and placement.
Are there any project parameters that you would like a sugestion on? For example, you might not be sure if a piece would look best on a chest or arm, or you might not be certain if you want to do color realism or neotraditional.
Would you prefer to talk over Zoom or in person? What does your availability look like?
Are there any other concerns you would like to discuss? This could be things like specific allergies, pain management, how to put together a cohesive collection, etc.
I look forward to speaking with you, and always hope that I can answer any and all questions you might have! :)
