If you're interested in any of the designs, you'll be able to find these (and possibly more, I'm not always the best at keeping both places equally updated) on my Venue.ink flash page below!
If you see a piece here that isn't on my Venue.ink page, please feel free to just book in as a custom tattoo and send a screenshot of what you would like. I am also happy to do custom work that would be something similar, or changing a color scheme.
The sections you can navigate below are as follows:
Color realism and painterly designs
Neotraditional designs
Black and grey, fineline, and ornamental designs
Large scale designs (like a full chest piece, or full sleeve)
Examples of custom drawings given to clients
Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I always try my very best to avoid AI. I draw all of my neotraditional designs, and I try to make sure my paintings have a real oil painting reference, and that my photo references are from photographers on websites like Unsplash and Pexels or from real product listings. That being said, it's becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish, especially with objects (a lot of the uncanny valley tells come from people). I avoid websites like Pinterest nowadays, so if you see anything under the color realism references that you are certain is sourced from AI, please feel free to warn me and it will be taken down! Although please keep in mind I do sometimes significantly alter photos and paint over them to get fantasy colors as well, so it may not look 100% realistic because the brushes I use will paint over texture.
Lover's eyes paintings were incredibly popular in the late eighteenth century. These small paintings would be worn as pendants, watches, brooches, and generally anything that could be kept close to the heart. In honor of this practice, the flash styles below can be used with a photo of your lover's eye (or close loved one, or even a pet!).
The sleeve concept below is based on the tarot birth cards of The World and The Empress.
All elements are drawn from the Rider-Waite interpretation of these cards, with some custom modifications.
These are examples of different versions of color schemes or sketches that were received by real clients!
If you think you might be interested in adding any of these to your collection, or in creating a custom design in a similar style, please feel free to fill out a booking form or see available flash on my Venue.ink page. You can also request a consultation for a larger piece, or just to get some questions answered!
I look forward to hearing all about your ideas, because my clients always have the coolest ones. ;)
